Our topic this term is the Roman invasion of Britain. We have discovered that the Romans brought many wonderful things to Britain when they invaded in 43 AD. Their soldiers built roads (which were mostly straight), sewer systems – they even had toilets, aquaducts and viaducts and under-floor heating. Very modern things for such a long time ago.
We have also been looking at being a Roman soldier invading Britain. Below are a few photographs of our assembly.
