Building Trebuchets

During the first week back after half term, we designed and built trebuchets!

One of our Parent Governors and another parent came in to work with KS2. We learned how to design, make and test trebuchets.

On the first day we learned about the history and physics of trebuchets.  We then looked at different designs. From this we all chose a design and set about planning our own and writing instructions on how to build them.  On the second day, we built them.

Swimming Gala

On Friday 26th May a selection of years 3,4,5,6 went to Bridport Leisure Centre to take part in a swimming gala. It was very challenging for all contestants, but we all did extremely well. For our 2nd gala we are very proud to have come 3rd out of 8 schools. We had loads of fun and we hope to do it again. Click here or full results.    By Loveday, Izzy, Daisy and Alfie

PSHE

During our PSHE lessons, we have been learning about RELATIONSHIPS.  We have been discussing the qualities of a good friend. We made a dolly chain and filled them in with our own personal qualities.
