Class 2 Acorns: What was it like to be a WW II Evacuee?

We discovered an old suitcase full of historical sources. We became historians and worked out that these were items that belonged to children in 1939. These children were being evacuated from our capital city of London and sent to the countryside to be safe. We are so eager to explore historical sources - including a video interview with a WWII evacuee - to learn more and to empathise with those whose lives have been impacted in this way.
