Seedlings - Washingpool Farm Trip

Seedlings had a lovely day our at Washingpool Farm.

We had lots of conversations about what farms are for, what animals and crops are found on farms.  We also:

- fed the chickens and collected the eggs

- fed the pigs

- saw a cow and bull 

- visited the growing fields

- visited the polytunnels to see the plants growing

- picked our own beetroot, radish, beans, spring onion and lettuce

- made the above into a delicious salad

- played on the park equipment of course!
