Sycamore Washingpool Trip

As part of our Geography unit on climate change and sustainability, Sycamore Class visited Washingpool Farm. We had a brilliant day learning about sustainable farming and the impact of climate change on agriculture. We made smoothies using our own kinetic power, cooked using seasonal produce and looked at the food miles of different produce available in the Washingpool farm shop. This really helped us reflect on how we can have a positive impact on the world simply by paying more consideration to the food we eat and where it comes from.
