Forest School 

 We have started to do some whittling in Forest School.  Today some children used the tools to make a toasting stick for our marshmallows.  We also helped collect firewood and extending our digging play by adding a bridge!

Planting 

As our theme this term is plants and growing, we have been busy doing some planting of our own.  We have planted our own beans and been watching some cress grow, very closely!  We have been amazed at how quickly the seeds spilt and little roots and shoots emerged!  We're looking forward to trying some cress sandwiches!  We really hope our beans grow into a bean teepee for us to play in.
